Paper Towels!!!

I use these. They are cheap, do an amazing job on cleaning glass, and are washable. Don't use dryer sheets or over dry. My DT is on a stainless steel table, so I wipe it and clean minimum of 3 times a day with these and I wipe the outside glass daily.

Well I am horrible.
I have several packages of white cotton shop towels.

One is open and at the ready but I never seem to use them.
I always pull off paper towels. I do not go through five rolls a week though.
Maybe one and this is in my shop where there are three guys working and washing hands.

My wife is very particular over her bath and kitchen towels. I have designated bath and kitchen towels and best not confuse them. Just over the weekend i got PVC glue on a quality bath towel. I got the riot act for that one. LOL!
There are special 'glass cleaning rags/towels' that you can get at Home Depot. The same kind used for 'dusting' - you can then just wash when needed -

Just remember to not use dryer sheets with them. They leave an oil residue on them that makes cleaning windows almost impossible. Years of housekeeping experience. All you need to clean windows BTW is a wet towel and a dry one. Works faster and better than any chemical I have ever used.

Clean the glass with a microfiber rag and distilled vinegar. Crystal clear every time and I go through 0 paper towels per week.

I use old t shirts and socks as rags .

I only use designer cashmere sweaters to clean my tank. I bought this and it didn't fit right so..

Squeegee for glass cleaning...

Designated hand towels for soaking up drips/spills and drying salty hands.

I buy and the only thing I buy . . . . used towels from a thrift store and cut them in pieces as service towels for tank use only

I hate buying paper towels. I use microfiber and vinegar based windex on the glass and have a beach towel and several hand towels at the ready under the stand. I wash them once a month or so. With a family of 6 we go through enough paper towels without my tank contributing.

I'm really (I mean REALLY) conservative with my paper towel use. For some things I'll rip one towel into 4 to make it last longer. But I actually just use washable rags for most things.

How often do you clean your glass? Lol

I clean mine after a water change or if I do something in the tank and smudge the glass. Granted I only have a 20G but I use roughly 4 sheets of paper towels a week. Everything else I just use old bath towels for.
Clean my glass every day. On weekends twice a day.
