Really nice shots tanks looking sweet. We need a good camera to get nice pics like you we're having trouble with the leds getting good pics. We got our lightning maroon clown and a canary blenny home n in tank but can't get good shots to post.

Thank you! Is it the actinic lighting (blue) that is messing with your photos?Really nice shots tanks looking sweet. All I use is an old $80 Canon PowerShot Elph 100HS. I usually use PIXLR, a free online editor to tone down the blue in the color balance along with adjusting the white balance on the camera. Here recently I acquired a gel filter which makes for really nice actinic photos and helps cell photos out ALOT. Here is one I found on Amazon. The one I was given is a dark orange. I hear the orange orange works well as well as the red for blocking out a lot of the blue color while shooting. Basically a sheet of plastic, pretty nifty and inexpensive though.Yep n crap point n shoot camera or cell phones for pics. We don't have a computer to do any real editing of photos to try and correct colors I posted few in our build thread.
Thanks Steve! Those solar flares are super bright! Maybe the brightest in my tank, not sure on that yet until I get them put with the rest. The Acro is a good size. He had this colony and 2 frags and cut me a deal on the colony so I went for it. I really wanted a yellow (or yellowish anyways) Acro. Now I just gotta find me a red one before I run out of room!Very nice pick ups those solar flares look super bright. acros huge lol

It's a Xen-Lux 120w LED panel (Chinese w/ bridgelux chips)what kind of light you have
Thanks! I hope it does good.Looks nice the new acro should look awesome growing out in the middle it looks happy on new rock.
