I want to nominate diamond reef. They have had a tank crash and lost several pieces. I really don't have many sps that I can donate, and this is mainly what they lost. I'm going to throw a box together with some polyps, acan and a couple sps.

I so would but unfortunately I also don't currently have any sps

I'm about an hour and a half north of acro but my truck isn't running well over 50mph. I have some fire and ice zoas and some bright green mushrooms. My leathers aren't healed yet though.

Pretty cool thread, have a buddy in nc that we have some trades in the works...so much nicer to just pay 15$ for shipping and just do a straight trade for new corals....so much easier on the ole wallet

I just got my corals from Cherry Corals and how they packed them was pretty cool. They were only small frags, but each frag was in a small bag with water and then those were in a larger bag. What I thought was a cool idea is that each frag plug was put through a kind of large plastic shot glass.. this kind of kept them from bumping as much I think. Then each big bac was wrapped in a thermo regulated paper (at least I assume as it was thicker, and silver on one side.

Tell me what you guys think about this. one of my neighbors is deployed to afghanistan. He has a small biocube that his wife is taking care of in the mean time. He plans on setting up a 40 gallon or so tank when he getts back. He will be back for R&R in august. I can see what he plans on doing for a bigger salt water aquarium when he is home from the deployment for good in December or January. I an going to hook him up with several of my zoas and palys possibly a head off of my torch. Plenty of time to plan for this if anyone is on board. We live in NC for what it's worth. I am hoping I can talk him into getting the tank set up so he can stock it when he returns. If he does there will be some goodies in there when he comes home

I dont have any frags yet of course.. but would be willing to donate a GC to a sponser here, marine depot, etc... Let me know what you guys think of where and how much I should do or if this is a good idea.

OY!! Great to see this thread is producing some positive output, i would like to send a nice chalice to you Pete, there for you can send it down to diamond reef with your box. Also we can test out the shipping method going from California to Arkansas, also PM me so i can get some info. I am also open to any input on what way I should send the package. Always open to ideas.
