PC Superman Acro Growth/Color Tracking

Here's mine; a little over a years growth. Obviously it has been through quite a lot in terms of less than ideal water quality, but has shown itself to be remarkably hardy and is making a wonderful comeback. This shot was taken last Dec. Has quite a bit more blue in the tips today. It is about 8" off the bottom under 400W 14K MHs.

Looking awesome guys. Here is a quick cell underwater picture of mine, slightly out of focus. It is growing very fast and the color looks fantastic. I think the key to this coral is high flow. I have it just a few inches from a mp60. Since Jan 2014

Ricky's growth amazes me ^^ I love your tank too man. My pc superman has great color, of course that I can't capture with my camera, but grows kinda slowly. It has been shooting up a bunch of new tips recently so hopefully that means its getting ready to take off.

Thank you and yes once the tips turn blue the growth takes off. I have mine in very high water flow.

Beautiful piece, what would you guess the size to be side to side?

I got a nubbin from Battle Corals last year that has been chilling in one of my frag/growout tanks, its gotten the blue tips a few months ago has started to to take off but I can't think of a place in my display I can put it-so sad

My growout tanks house nicer pieces than my display :ooh:

Do what I did ... Just had a massive "average frag selloff" on my local reef club.
Tons of room now. Think I've tracked down a couple sources for this frag now.

really nice Rick! digging the surrounding pieces as well! I finally got a little colony in my display that i vowed not to frag. you aren't kidding that its a tough one to cut. and fragging it just ruins the integrity of the table.

My first piece from Sonny would be a monster by now if i left it alone that last four years. Yours looks amazing!

I'm glad you fragged it Adam hahaha

You'd be proud to see how its developed :)
