It was a yellow hammer too.:mad::mad:

That's the issue with those shrimps
And when they are in large number 3-4 they always dare to attack
Big nem as bta when they realize that are eatable

Well my lfs just sold me 3 to deal with aptasia which they destroyed in almost a day... only catch is my whole reef tank is hammer corals and nems:( what should I do?!?

Through the research ive done as well as my own experience the shrimp the ones that are successful at eating the annoying anemone are also the ones that eat Euphilias. Ive struggled with growing them because of this. Ive lost 2 hammers and a few torch to them :(

Just unlucky but it sucks, my pepp did his job and cleared the apps then he destroyed my hammer too ! He's still in with my Nems and doesn't touch them . I feed him weekly when I feed the Nems.

I am watching them trying to eat my bta right now!!! What can I do and how can I get them out!

My bta is not cheap

Take a 2L bottle and cut the top 1/4 off and flip it around so the cap is inside. Superglue in place if necessary. Then put some food in the bottle and put in tank near the "shrimp hangout". Then patiences becomes your friend.

I got mine out with mysis in a bottle. I tried Zack's idea and it worked in like 2 minutes.

He ate every single aiptasia and an entire head of a yellow frogspawn. I almost bought a bunch of'em.

I have PS but knock on wood ,,,no problems ...If I recall reading some info on the net,,there are the real PS and a copy cat shrimp that looks like the real PS,,there are suttle differences but the imposter is usually the problematic ones..
alot of LFS sell both but the real PS are usually deeper red in color..verses the light pink colored imposters..

Usually the "redder peppermint shrimp" are blood shrimp. They act the same as PS but are far tamer in the essence of eating Coral.

Im not confusing fire/blood shrimp with Peps,,,those are very obvious differences..
Im talking about slight variances with peps and the VERY close colored /striped imposters that look like Peps,,also not camelback shrimp are not it either..
