Wow I have been slacking. The tank is coming along well. I have however had issues with alk rising, so I decided to add a CO2 scrubber, @120reefkeeper (Michael) and I discussed recently, and I think it will really help. Anyway, the corals are doing well, a few hard headed acros are not happy, but I knew going in that a mixed reef would be a challenge, so onward I march on this mixed up journey :)

Thanks buddy, I appreciate all your insight regarding the CO2 scrubber. I decided on BRS filter kit, and using 2LF media. I have a feeling things will take off as soon as I get this thing going :)

Hey what's up Bubba? Thanks for the kind words man, it means a lot :) Hope all is well, glad my old Cannon still takes good pics, I think I have started to figure out the LED and T5 combo, lol. I am currently ramping with LED panel, using UV and Red/ Green channels prior and after peak, where I use 4 t5's to gather those spectrum's. During peak, I ramp 80% on all blues, and 20% whites. I use KZ Superblue times 2, and ATI Actinic Plus and Coral Plus. Total of 4 T5 tubes.

Hey Tim,
Thank you very much, as always, I appreciate you looking over the journal. Things are beginning to click in this tank, so hopefully the CO2 scrubber will pull my PH up, then I should see a run on growth. I believe I have a suppressed PH issue that is causing things to drag along, thus alk not steady, that is no bueno for acros :) I have used water changes at 20% weekly to combat this, so the tank has been well maintained and balanced considering. Hopefully next step is to work on coloring up all these corals, colors look ok, but have much potential. I have some really nice higher end goodies, looking forward to seeing them mature. Thanks again :)
