Phil's 125 dream getaway

Just got off the phone with the gentleman that's taking my cf pylei wrasse and as excited as I am, I have to admit I'm going to miss this little brat. 1 very active and curious fish, with a beautiful color to match. I know my other wrasses won't miss him and I may not as much if they start being out and about like they used to be. But he's the 1st wrasse that has helped feed an addiction.

So far I've got a few coral doing good. But I noticed something last night, not only do my peppermints breed like crazy but so do my snails evidently. Saw hundreds of little 1s under the blues last night.

What do you do when the day starts off bad? I tore down my quarantine tank and gave it a good scrubbing. Cleaned with some straight vinegar and resetup, hadn't done that in almost a year. Figured I'd have it pristine for its next guest.

@reefwiser any idea what Paul keeps his salinty roughly? I forgot and am going to take my c.f. pylei back to him and grab the juvy mccoskers flasher if still there later this week.

Side note, my carpenter's flasher wrasse is out and about like he was before the pylei. Removing the pylei worked :)

I have a new way of feeding my eel, I pour some a the water I have his food in defrosting into my overflow when I get that eel feed me talk and within seconds he knows food is coming, easier to target feed and know if he's crying eel. Needless to say I've gotten good at schucking clams.
