Phil's 125 dream getaway

I would put it near your power strip. Only need circulation pump and heater No lights

Well I ended up calling the company that made the battery backup my wife got me as I was really hesitant. Good thing I didn't hook it up because their tech support said it could have caused several issues. Guess it's back to telling family gift certificates if they want to give me a gift, wife is going to love this as this will go for her to.

I recently made a decision to put a hold on buying fish. It's kinda crazy saying that but right now it's what's best, as a 2 week trip is planned and I really wouldn't feel comfortable relying on my wife and house sitter while away. I am looking at getting a Slasher Mantis Shrimp for my 20g, with my 10g and plastic tubes now becoming my primary QTs. I'd like to add another 20g down the road for an anemone and clowns.

Tminus 5 days!

I've been asked many times why I chose to go with the eel I have and why put it with the fish that you do. For me the answer is simple: have you ever researched or owned a chainlink? Or seen my tank? An eel isn't always an eel and my tank is living proof of that :) I believe that there are still living creatures in this hobby that are misunderstood.

Tminus 2 days! :p

@Kyuss414 buddy you introduced me to the chainlink eel and was there for me in the beginning. I can't Thank You enough. If it weren't for your help, I wouldn't have Alcatraz :)

@reefwiser Ed who would've thought we would be where we are today. I appreciate everything you've done to help me and also for what you've done for the club. I look forward to many more meetings and more years reefing together my friend :)

@eatbreakfast and @evolved gentlemen without you 2 who knows where my tank would be fish wise. Thanks for always helping and keeping me in check, especially when it comes to wrasses :D

@Humblefish you my friend are Doctor Fish. A lot of people would be in trouble without you. Thanks for always taking the time :D

@Greenstreet.1 Keep on Wrassin on!

@ReefFrenzy Thanks for keeping my fish happy and healthy with your food. I'm just another hobbyist but you took the time! :)

To anyone not mentioned that's helped me along the way "Thank You" as well :D

I'm looking forward to many more years and a lot more chats my friends :p

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALCATRAZ! I can't believe it's been a year already.

@Humblefish my friend my knowledge of Morays is growing daily, I can't thank you enough for pointing me in the direction you have. Not only is the 1 person helping but someone he knows as well.

Going to be on the move soon and so far my biggest concern is my tank. It really stinks losing over a years worth of maturity in my sand bed as I've got pods galore.

With the move will come a bigger tank after Christmas that I'll be devoting to more moray eels that will stay a fowlr setup to stay more simple and to house a few other fish not best kept with small fish, plus a smaller system I already have to house a golden dwarf moray (just need rock and it's good to go).

With the chaos that has ensued with moving, I haven't been watching as much and have been slacking on a water change. Hope this isn't why I lost my c.f. cyanopleura wrasse or a sign of things to come. Everyone has been feed as 2 normal routine.

But I am going to use this move and upgrade a few things. A sump can never be 2 small, lesson learned.
