I’m 26. Been reefing for 3 years strong!

In the aquarium hobby since the age of 10 so it’s now 54 years. I started keeping Saltwater aquariums in the early 80’s. I am a founding member of Masna and have hosted four MACNA’s. [emoji3]

I’m 24 and have been reefing since my 15th birthday. So almost 10 Years. Wow time flys. I remember asking my mom to take me to the lfs hahaha. Begging for allowance early just to buy one frag at a time. I had a 34 gallon biocube for 6 Years now I have a 50 gallon cube and a 110.
When I go to Reef shows I’m usually one of the youngest by far.

About to be 57. First tank when I was 10 in 1971; various sizes over time. First SW in 1986; first reef in 1987. Hard to remember all the brands and DIY monstrosities. My first 'large' tank was a SS frame, slate bottom 20 gal metaframe. Wish I'd kept it.

Me and dirt started keeping fish in 1953 or so. Reefing since the day they were imported to the US in 1971. Yes, the calendar went back that far. The pyramids were built a few years before.

I’m 39. First reef tank was in ‘98. Worked “in the industry” for a decade. Took the last 8 or so years off. Interest came back this summer. HARD.

41 years old.

Started with freshwater aquariums in 85 and had my first saltwater tank in 89 thanks to my aunt. Started keeping reefs in 91 and attended Macna VI 94' in Cleveland. I also got to see Julian Sprung speak at A CSEA meeting which really got me hooked. I just started a new nano reef tank after being out of reeding for 10 years due to traveling for work. I did keep high tech planted tanks and vivariums during that time.

I’m 42 now. First 55 gallon saltwater tank was in 96. So 22 years. Second tank was a 55 gallon. Third tank was a 240. Fourth tank was a 155. Now setting up a 160 gallon and it will be my first reef tank.

26m reefing for a few years but it all started with a beta fish when I was 19 then a 20g cichlid tank for a couple years. Once I starting learning about SW i never set up another FW tank.. except for my ATO of course
