I probably have spent about 2500.00 this year on the hobby. The last 750.00 of that was for my sons new 30 Nuvo.

Yes it all added up so fast. Between the tank, lights, and co2 system it was already getting pricier than I wanted. Then the ato, new trip lite strip, heater, timer. Little projects can get a bit ridiculous for what they really are.

But hey- I have my very first berried Bloody Mary shrimp!

I started my current build in Dec 2019 and between equipment, coral, fish, and small QT I'm at about $20k. This includes full Apex, radions, t5 hybrid, oversized skimmer, red sea 525, AWC setup and mixing station, about 30 fish, 50 mostly high-end sps, and 20 or so LPS.

Not cheap, but also fully loaded equipment and livestock. No buyers remorse, I love this hobby as much as day 1 over 10 years ago.
