It’s a pretty significant departure, brother. I understand people get defensive of Ryan and BRS. But Ryan’s not the boss anymore. I really like him, and I hope we get around to some stuff that’ll help people new to the hobby, but I’m not sure it’ll ever be heavy on that aspect. They’re not even 10 weeks in and just showing off each tank and what the plans are. Ryan has said in multiple videos that everything isn’t needed and it’s just how they’ve decided to run these tanks. Future episodes will go into the science of everything like Season 1 did.
Can anyone seriously say Season 1 was a cheap setup????![]()

It’s amazing watching people cherry pick info to fit their narrative when attacking companies.
I guess I assumed that Season 2 would be a “reboot” of Season 1. Operating under that assumption, I’m disappointed in the direction of Season 2 so far. Ultimately, it’s up to Aperture and BRS what they want to do. Maybe they just couldn’t stomach a reboot because they would’ve found it boring and of no challenge to them. It’s possible. Nevertheless, I would’ve loved to compare Season 1 to a reboot of the series, to see all the knowledge and research done in previous years come to bear, in a comparative sense.
