Prices going up again?

They’re not even 10 weeks in and just showing off each tank and what the plans are. Ryan has said in multiple videos that everything isn’t needed and it’s just how they’ve decided to run these tanks. Future episodes will go into the science of everything like Season 1 did.

Can anyone seriously say Season 1 was a cheap setup???? :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

It’s amazing watching people cherry pick info to fit their narrative when attacking companies.
It’s a pretty significant departure, brother. I understand people get defensive of Ryan and BRS. But Ryan’s not the boss anymore. I really like him, and I hope we get around to some stuff that’ll help people new to the hobby, but I’m not sure it’ll ever be heavy on that aspect.

I guess I assumed that Season 2 would be a “reboot” of Season 1. Operating under that assumption, I’m disappointed in the direction of Season 2 so far. Ultimately, it’s up to Aperture and BRS what they want to do. Maybe they just couldn’t stomach a reboot because they would’ve found it boring and of no challenge to them. It’s possible. Nevertheless, I would’ve loved to compare Season 1 to a reboot of the series, to see all the knowledge and research done in previous years come to bear, in a comparative sense.

Pretty interesting comment here. Hmm.

How about giving them more than a couple months to judge the series? Again, Ryan is just introducing the tanks right now since they are the central point of the whole series. Redoing Season 1 in the exact same way would have been extremely dull and boring.

All the science and lessons learned episodes are coming later.

This had made its rounds. I think Randy pushed for a fair deal and gave an ultimatum if his requests weren't met.

The only ones that benefited from this buyout were the owners. And those that thought they had a unique position to ask for more was shown their place.

Kudos to him for leaving, but I think it was more complicated than what he makes it out to be. And I'm sure there were papers singed upon his departure to gag him from speaking on the matter in any detail.

Sorry, hadn’t seen it yet, didn’t mean to repost content that’s already been out there. But to the rest - yes. I miss his energy. Was good for the hobby.

I've been looking at some Neptune items since starting a new tank and was shocked when i saw a 15$ increase on the ATO kit. So I did some digging, found this thread and made a little list.

Some Neptune Price changes (rounded to nearest whole dollar):

was now
Apex A3 $600 $630
Apex A3 Pro $900 $946
EB832 $290 $305
Trident $640 $675
Cor15 $315 $340
Cor20 $375 $400
ATK $225 $240
GRO fuge light $145 $155
WAV (if Available) $185 $195
WAV Kit $480 $505
AFS Feeder $110 $116
PMUP Only $45 $48
PMUP Kit $60 $63
DDR Reservoir $205 $216
MOS Optical sensor $40 $42
LD-3 Leak Sensor $40 $43
LLS Level Sensor 15" $60 $65
LLS 23" $80 $85

So far It doesnt look like the SKY light, apex JR, or DOS pump has changed. I dont even know why they bothered to look at the price of the WAV, they cant even get their supply chain up to speed. People have given up on those pumps and just gone ecotech, which is a shame since it clears up power bricks and streamlines peoples flow control. I personally like everything under one app and will pay a little more, but im starting to say screw it and go Chinese.
shocking news everyone! the wav kit is actually in stock at brs... a year later :upside-down-face:
