Good find:)

Wow they don't go out of their way to make that public. Looks like they are somewhat using it to push people to the coral box pump.

Weird , I took a screenshot but don't know how to upload it.

Attention

For Jebao RW Pump is require replacement motor for 3 month to 1 years. The motor is consume goods on it. Customer is require for pay on the replacement motor. For Coral box quiet pump is lifetime warranty, it is no need replacement motor on future for 1 time if you need"

Well, that's a new one for a seller (note not the manufacturer but I do wonder if they got it from the Jebao) to make such a statement. I am surprised indeed ;Woot

WOW but really doesn't shock me.

My Jebao pump D.C.-4000 has been moved out of my tank into the garage for use on my mixing station. Loud whiny noise was just too much in my living room. It's now where it belongs. As long as that lasts. I've already ordered something else to replace it when it fails . . . .

Reads to me like they don't want to replace motors under warranty and decided calling it a consumable part would alleviate that responsibility.

My solution would be to buy from reefbreeders, he offers a 1 year warranty according to his website.

I've had several of their pumps, the dct, WP, pp8. I've been happy with them all, more importantly my wife was happy with the price. One of my WPs died not too long ago, it was probably around 5 years old.

My RW20s have been up since 6-19-16. Hope they don't go kaput!

Six months on two PP8s and a DCT6000 and they are dead silent. The controllers leave something to be desired on the PP8s but they work flawlessly. I'm not spending $300+ for one junk Ecotech that can't even be angled, when I got two Jebaos for less than a quarter the cost.

Sounds to me like trying to push sales on the coral box pumps, I have 3 rw4's and had one of them for a couple of years now and not a problem, still quiet and still going strong,,

This was written by the competition. Take it with a grain of salt (no pun intended). No need to panic.

"The motor is consume goods on it"

The entire article reads like it was either written by a four year old, or simply translated by a very poor translation engine. I would guess they are referring to the impeller, not the entire pump.
