There is no need to panic. It is not like anything has changed in manufacturing of the pumps is still the same factory and process although there have been many revisions. First was the WP, then RW (wider flow more control), then PP (stronger magnets), then SW (0-10v port and smaller controller). The problem lies in that Jebao does not warranty their product at all. If there is a warranty it is taken on by the wholesaler or retailer and the responsibility is totally theirs to fix or replace at their expense. That is why they can be had for very cheap on Amazon or Ebay with no warranty or by paying more purchasing from a reputable source. The Coral Box QP series is not made by Jebao it is a different factory and the company is trying to do the right thing by standing behind them. From what I can tell and I have compared both the QP series does appear better built with nicer features but I guess only time will tell about longevity. However knowing that parts are available and covered under warranty is a relief just in case. I do aquarium installation and maintenance and I have seen all sorts of equipment fail for different reasons even brand new top of the line stuff. I can say that a company that stands behind their product (even if it does fail) makes all the difference in a time of need especially if a critical component of the system.

@Vance, they do. I had an RW motor stop and I contacted fishstreet and they gave me the order code for the motor replacement only. I think it was $35 it was sent priority and I had it within a week. My WP25s are going strong after 3 years. I purchased 2 RW15s and 1 motor went bad. The other one is still working fine. It's going on 2 years

This topic is, and as I can see, a highly debated topic here, as it has been for years and years on other forums.
I will say that I have no affiliation with jebao up front and up to five years ago, never heard of them. My stance on new products introduced to the hobby, if it's something I might want or need at some point, is to wait it out and let others be the first to try it out. I'm just not the type to run out and purchase something new without some track record or review, to base my purchase on.
Now, my experiences with these wave maker pumps is quite different than those that have posted here.
I knew up front that these would need more maintenance than pumps I've had in the past, based on what others had said. Once a month in they go into a bath of vinegar water. These pumps have a tendency to have calcium build up at the impeller shaft and shaft bushings. This will cause the impellers to seize up and stop working. Now I've had other makes of pumps do this as well, but not as easy as these.
If kept clean, they work very well.
I have two RW15's and a RW8 now just shy of three years, the same jebaos I originally bought and they still are pushing the same amount of water as new.
One thing I will say that I didn't and still don't like is the controllers that came with them. They would never stay in sync no matter what I did. So I replaced the controllers with a JB wave controller and now have Bluetooth total control over them. Alternating wave, pulse, random, custom wave patterns, night and feed modes.....etc. full control via phone app.
For the money, aside from having to buy the JB controller and having to clean them once a month, they are well worth what little I paid for them and would gladly do it again.

I've had 3 different RW model pumps with no problems whatsoever. The oldest one I have now has to be 3-4 years old. Still going strong and quiet too. I also have one of the DCT pumps as my return, I have a little less than a year on this one.

Fishstreet dose not stand behind anything they sell they will send you to the manufacturer. Jebao dose not stand behind there products. they will try to sell you the new coralbox which is still Jebao and will need replacement 3 months to 1 year. you may have great luck and have a pump that runs for years. one of my pumps died at one year. the other is still running. these are really nice pumps there strong and quiet. its a shame there is little longevity.
