Hey found the piece for the 1 1/4 inch for 1.75 the only company that makes it is spears and you would be able to get it through ferguson plumbing or anyone that can get spears parts

Can't wait to see if it fits. Sure save some $ for others.

@cono that's awesome.
I know several people who are looking for this and object to ETM's $10 price and high shipping cost.

This was from Spears?

If anyone is looking for the 1 1/4 inch one pm me and I'll give you my address and you can send a self addressed paid envelope and I will a 1.75 and I'll send it to the lucky 4 people

This may be a dumb question, but why not glue pvc straight into the integral output union on the vectra? seems like it would save a lot of headaches and space vs trying to find an adapter???

I glued a street- to- male barb adapter fitting directly into the Vectra's union with Oatley PVC- to- ABS transition glue.

By using the blue collar on the output you are reducing the total flow, because it reduces the pipe size to 3/4".

the loss in performance is fairly nominal in this case with the head pressures that the original poster is working with. It may make more sense to take the loss than have to completely rework his return plumbing. Ideally I would also want to try and maximize performance as well, but for a return pump on his system I see no real reason to go to all the trouble.

It's no trouble at all ...but its only the principal of the fact that they made this pump but wasn't thinking that their biggest customer is the people in states not Europe or China

The manufacture should have included a metric to SAE adapter with all pumps sold in countrys using SAE. So I would say there is a break down in management or those pack the product in the box used to box pump.

Yeah, it is a shame the correct fittings weren't included, or the thread pattern wasn't a US fitting.
But I'm not going to loose sleep over it.
It is what it is.

Good job @cono for sourcing a cheaper fittings.
