My 75 has finally finished the cycle and I have been able to move my corals over to it. I will say that these nozzles are very impressive at how they move water around the tank. When cycling I had the pump at about 45% and a single Jebao PP-4 running on 3 second on/off pulse mode. Now that I have moved the corals in I am having a bugger of a time with getting it all dialed in. Just going to have to play with placement, flow output, nozzle direction until I get it juuuuuust right.

Sounds like you're getting into the fun part of a new tank setup - dialing in the flow. One thing you can try with the nozzles is to position each nozzle to point at the center mass of the area you want to flow. Be sure to have the nozzle relatively straight/inline with the last section off loc-line it is attached to. This will help ensure you get the best randomized flow out of the nozzle.

Then crank up the pump!
This should create a nice random, almost wave-maker like pulsing from the nozzles that will interact nicely with the Jebao

These generators do randomize flow where I need , on the corners, where flow is usually slow and constant.
Quality product.

These synergy boxes are sweet. 20" is plenty for my tank lol

The "Optimal Rerecorded GPH" for the two size nozzles overlaps a bit. At the top end of the 1/2in RFG it's around 450, while at the low end of the 3/4in its about 420GPH

Optimal Recommended GPH Per Nozzles
Single 1/2in RFG (RFG050 ) - 300-450
Single 3/4in RFG - (RFG075) - 420-500
Single 1in RFG (RFG100) - 720-1000
Single 1in RFGS (RFGS100LL) - 500-1000

These Nozzles will function at a wide range of flow rates an handle much more than our "Optimal Rerecorded GPH" rate. We published the recommended rates because we felt that at these flow rates, you get the best balance between randozied flow and generated head pressure.
However, if you don't mind going beyond the Optimal rates, you get rewarded with an awesome randomized flow pattern that is very unique.

Looks like you have that flow dialed in just right - not to hard, and not to soft, but everytnign seems to be moving nicely.
What size is your BioCube?

It's the 29 gallon cube. I'm definitely 100% happy with the amount of flow i'm pushing now. Great thing is as corals grow into the tank, I can always redirect the RFG's. I was originally looking at adding an MP10 or MP40 to my tank to really amp up the volume and spread of flow in the tank, but now that I've got these both working I don't see ANY need for that at all. Now I can focus on upgrading my Kessil 160 to a Hyrda 26

Once again, great job on these RFG's! I"ll definitely be getting bigger ones in the future whenever I get my Red Sea tank

Just sharing my tank, I been using the RFG for about 7 months with individual DC pumps.
The flow is very natural and you can adjust to the needs of your tank, overall I'm happy with them.

I finally got my RFG's installed last week after the 50g was FINALLY rebooted. I need to get some good pics and I'll post them here. Suffice to say, these nozzles are amazing. The flow I'm seeing is superb. I didn't even bother putting my wavemaker pumps back in the tank.

@Waynerock - thanks for the awesome review - we got your email too. Not to give away too much of the secret, but we do put down a layer of magic every few passes of the 3D print head ;-) LOL

Seriously though, the BioCube and the 1/2in RFG nozzle are a perfect match, and it looks like you have it dialed in nicely.

Your tank looks great @JLV8222 - Setting it up with dual DC pumps, one for each nozzle, is a great way to run the RFGs in the IM tanks.

What size is your tank and which DC pumps did you go with? and what's the approx level you're running the pumps at?

Hello there! I have the Red Sea Reefer Ultimate Return Line Upgrade - 25mm to 1/2in RFG for my RSR 350. My pump is a Neptune Cor20 which I run at 56% and my powerheads are two Neptune Wavs. The RFGs give great flow, but they create this sucking sound every few minutes. I have them 1/2” below the waterline, but any further will flood my Synergy TS-26 sump.

What do you recommend I do to stop the sucking sound?
