Going to start a new build thread. Basically I am going to try to reuse as much as I can. I may try to sell the setup once its done or use it for quarantine.

Here it goes

This is the sump that I used on the 180G when I lived in Huntsville.

Here is everything all cleaned up (Well it looks better than it did). That hole seems to be a problem. Thinking of the best way around it.

Here is the next issue. The top tank support was not bonded well. So I took it off and cleaned everything up. Going to re-seal it later.

Might as well post the progress for today.

This is the canopy that I used on the 125G after I first moved. Its been sitting in the corner of the basement for about 2 years now. It had to go.

The next two things to do are to silicone the plastic rim on the tank and build the floor for the sump.

I stopped by Lowes today looking for a glass cutter, but no luck. Hopefully Home Depot will have something.

Have you thought about doing a FOWLR? I am thinking about turning my 67 into a FOWLR. I love Angels and basically all the fish that would munch my coral. They are the prettiest fish, but also the most dangerous to reef tanks.

When I first got into saltwater I planned to a FOWLR then I went to my first reef club meeting and forgot about it

If I were to do something like that I would do it with the 125

However it would be cool to have a Picasso triggerfish

Got the supports in place for the sump. The idea here was to cut the supports down enough so it would create a lip in the sump area. Turns out I needed to cut it down about 1/4 of an inch more than I did. Didn't see that as a big enough of a deal to start over.
