Rare Corals/Corals Absent from the Hobby

Coming from an exporter, what is brought in is dictated by the market. We would love to collect and send cool new or strange things, but often times they are not the radiating corals. With odd ball stuff, people are too particular, let alone the price they would be will to pay for a potentially brown thing. That being said. Here is a great example of something very uncommon, but cool.

Yeah will post a pic when I get back to the house. Saw it at an LFS and it was about half the size of a penny and couldn’t make out what it was, bought it on a hunch, but now grew to about a quarter size. It’s not a crazy shade of pink but does look interesting. Will post the pic later.

I vote for the original purple monster acro. Hoeksemai acro used to be common and now is somewhat rare.

Never heard of it, and nothing shows up on Google when searched.

Another coral that’s almost completely absent over here is the Red Glitter Goni. I’d love a frag of it but they’re Aussie coral so when LFSs have them it can be sketchy.
