Some really great looking fish and if that is truly a 1000l system, that’s nice and big but I’d still say that looks too eclectic to my eye. If you’ve kept up with water changes and all your fish are healthy that’s one element but I’d personally say it might look better and less stressful with half the fish. I would also make the suggestion that you know this is overcrowded due to your title and the fact that you seem to have a cognitive dissonance about fish stocking.

Looks like a lot of fish but seems like they are all thriving more than most people. By the looks of it he has had the fish for a long time so looks like they are healthy

I don’t like it. 0/10

The fish are so crowded it looks unnatural and makes me feel anxious instead of relaxed (which is how I want a fish tank me feel when I look at it).

Display tanks that have like 10000 small coral frags all over it and covering the entire bottom make me feel somewhat similar but to a lesser degree (since they don’t move).

I want to feel some sort of serenity and peace. This has a chaotic feeling.

@KeepSwimming12 What do you mean by “cognitive dissonance”. I looked it up and it means someone who is inconsistent with their messages. Are you implying I say that overstocking is good sometimes and bad at other times?

Healthy does not mean happy or comfortable. I think it looks like crap too. Not peaceful or serene, just super busy with fish in a constant state of trying to avoid other fish.

Well said.

I can’t imagine how they fight over sleeping spots in the rock pieces when the lights turn off how sad

I would be really surprised if that’s a 1000 liter tank. Maybe a 1000 liter system, but not a 1000 liter display. I have a 750 liter system (probably only 600 liter display) and it’s way larger.

Each to their own, but since the question was to rate it I give it 11/10 on the fish and 0/10 on the reef environment.

Not a fan 0/10. Way to many fish, most can't swim more than two or three thrusts before have to stop or turn. Yes they may be feed well, but no hiding places, hardly any rock work. Sleeping spots are non existent. Tank may have been running for 10 years, doesn't mean the fish are that old unless I missed that part.

Edit: I really hope you take some "you" time to seriously think about rehoming 40-50% of the fish.
