Rate this tank *TRIGGER WARNING*

Personally it is chaotic. I like to see my system as peaceful. I get that everyone wants to have a system they enjoy, so if chaos is yours. Well done! :)

I thought it was going to be a pun where it was a peacefully stocked tank that just had several triggerfish. Very disappointed. I feel bad for every one of those poor guys.

Hello,

Wow looks umm like live sardines in a tin can. Who am I to judge. In the aspect of the fish I think this is abuse. Yet the whole story of this tank isn’t known (well to me it isn’t). They do look healthy but again is this a staging tank, where they move them to a new home shortly after? But may help people focus if you say hey follow just that fish, but I see this has a hard challenge.

@KeepSwimming12 What do you mean by “cognitive dissonance”. I looked it up and it means someone who is inconsistent with their messages. Are you implying I say that overstocking is good sometimes and bad at other times?
Sorry, allow me to clarify. Cognitive dissonance is generally when a conscious, spoken mode of thought conflicts with an internal, conscious and sometimes unconscious thought. I believe that you think your tank has too many fish in it, hence why you wrote trigger warning. But your post on another forum shows me that you consciously recognise that overstocking is an issue in aquarium keeping. By no means is that an insult I think we all do that in some aspects of our lives and it just means that eventually one thought will prevail. I’m going to be honest and say I, myself had a similar approach to quarantine. I told other people to quarantine but didn’t do it myself which was a mistake. It’s more of an internal debate you have with yourself until one point of view wins.

This isn't your tank right Miami Reef?
No this is not my tank. It’s from YouTube.

This is my tank…It’s actually EMPTY! Fallow. :p

Sorry but it is very unlikely those are the same fish surviving for that long in that tank. Just the fact there is no where for those fish to sleep or rest and the natural aggressive nature of many makes it very unlikely. I may be wrong but I doubt it, I have seen my hobby buddies pull the old switch and bait with my own eyes, so I would be strongly recommend against trying this yourself.

I think Miami Reef could have told us in the original post that this wasn't his own tank, just to prevent people from being misled. Also a little background info would be helpful before we all criticize.

I will give this tank -2/10.

What a sad tank. These fish need more room. And I imaging that living in such conditions can only be stressful to every fish in the tank. Won't enduring stressful conditions for such a long time lead to disease?

Has anyone in this hobby ever witnessed such irresponsibility by someone who has fish in their care? I am appalled that these fish have endured such conditions for so long.

If this tank is real, it is a ticking time bomb.

Maybe the tank needs about 10 more tangs. It really is lacking in some fish.

Edit: I am joking, but I wonder how many of those fish are the original from 10 yrs ago.

Not your tank. Don't you think that is something you should have mentioned in your original post?

What a BAIT and switch!

Why did you start this post?
He did say "trigger warning". Looks like it worked.
