Rate this tank *TRIGGER WARNING*

The Internet has unfortunately turned the word "trigger" into kind of a joke, often used in a mocking sense (someone will say something offensive, and then go "aw, are you triggered??' when people get upset about it), and at this point the majority of people don't realize that it has an actual meaning. Entirely understandable you wouldn't know, just thought I'd bring that to your attention for future reference.

Ah, I didn't see those guys in your photo. I don't know enough about tang stocking density to know if that's a bad idea, but I'd wager you'd run into some problems. Still, better than the tank we're all upset at, particularly with some of them still as babies. Of course, they'd grow, and then potential problems would increase, but at least it still wouldn't be quite as horrific.

Personally, I'm a fan of the "reasonably large number of small fish, with a couple large fish as accents" method of stocking tanks. It looks natural, brings a pleasing mixture of shapes and sizes, and can be done without stressing the fish.

I do have to say that while the tank has been running over a decade. There are many fish that seem to change. Although I can't say if they the reason... maybe removed for aggression... died... who knows. Just that a handful of fish change from year to year.
Yes - noticed that as well.

Sorry but it is very unlikely those are the same fish surviving for that long in that tank. Just the fact there is no where for those fish to sleep or rest and the natural aggressive nature of many makes it very unlikely. I may be wrong but I doubt it, I have seen my hobby buddies pull the old switch and bait with my own eyes, so I would be strongly recommend against trying this yourself.
From an aggression standpoint, there would be little. This tank is too well-stocked and they'd have trouble singling each other out. However, this is definitely WAY more fish than should be in this tank. I am known for overstocking but this is several orders of magnitude more than even me. I agree that this isn't ethical, but not much I can do about it.

As far as longevity -- I'd say this person has enough money to stock the tank that full of expensive fish and keep them alive (without parasites taking over). That's impressive. However, I suspect that many fish have stressed and died in this tank and they're simply being replaced. It's just a hunch.

I don’t like it. 0/10

The fish are so crowded it looks unnatural and makes me feel anxious instead of relaxed (which is how I want a fish tank me feel when I look at it).

Display tanks that have like 10000 small coral frags all over it and covering the entire bottom make me feel somewhat similar but to a lesser degree (since they don’t move).

I want to feel some sort of serenity and peace. This has a chaotic feeling.
i agree. lasat night i had a nightmare that i kept 50$ per polyp zoanthids and a pair of longfin clownfish in a 10 gallon aio with 3 ai primes on 100% blue. i woke up sweating

This person purchased a moorish idol and a Achilles tang. Neither made it.

This isn't OP's tank, it's someone else's. Hence the idol and tang being relevant.
Didn't see the edit on the first page! For whoever actually owns the tank: Yikes. Just yikes. Instead of spending thousands on murdered fish over a decade, why not impress us with a ~moderately~ stocked monster build that could support a stock like that, if they're so intent on flashing cash around?

Port-a-potty with three other people. Don't even give them the dignity of a permanent bathroom.
Dead butt. He can make it seem like he’s had success with this tank but the reality is that he’s probably lost more fish than he can count with the massive nitrate spikes he’s probably had

Looks like a crowded fish bus
