Red Sea Salt Mix

Mixed up 5 gallons at lunch of RedSea Regular Salt and at 76 degrees 1.025 I got:

DKH = 8.2
CAL = 390
MAG = 1300

All tested with RedSea Pro kits

Looks good to me. And that was not mixing up the bag of salt, just scooping off of the top of the bag in the bucket!

Pet Solutions is still selling this Red Sea Salt at $49.99 and providing overnight delivery, at least in my case. Ordered on Tuesday and it was on my front porch Wednesday before noon. I ordered an extra. This is $15-20 less than what I've been paying not counting free delivery. Certainly can't beat that deal.

It's all good. I was just curious. I've been looking for a 200 gallon box of RedSea but the biggest I've seen is buckets of 175 gallons.

I've been following this thread; do you all like the Red Sea primarily because you are using bio pellets and this salt keeps your Alk lower?
