I have been using the JBJ since August and haven't really had Abby issues with it just like the optical eye with the Tunze.

I am using the new Tunze osmolator Nano on the same tank and so far so good... I was the same as you not wanting to fork over 200 bucks for the regular osmolator... This one still has the quality, but it is half the price.

Where did you find the nano one at? I read an article about in online not to long ago but I have not seen it available for purchase any where online. Also does the nano have a backup sensor or just the one sensor?

I bought it from aquacave, they had just got it in about 2 weeks ago. It only has the one sensor, I know a little scary, but I don't think I will have any problems with it. Famous last words I know haha, I have always had luck with Tunze equipment so I guess I am just putting my faith in them =)

Lol the lack of the second sensor is the only thing that worries me.

So in case you all have not seen the email yet Marine Depot is running 10% off everything minus ecotechs. So I am placing a huge order to get my reef going. What ati bulb combo would you all reccomend for an lps dominated tank, I prefer a blue look. Thanks everyone!

When I had my 4 bulb I ran 3 blue+ 1 kz fiji purple and it looked great

I was thinking of using 2 blue+, 1 purple+, and maybe an aqua blue special. I am afraid the aqua blue special will make it to white though.

I would go with Mike's recommendation. The AB special is very white

3 blue+ and a purple is 20k look. The special would be to white since you said you like it bluer. Would make it like 12-14k

What salt is everyone in the club using these days? I used rc on my current tank, but i am hearing good things about red sea coral pro.

Alright so a big night for me last night. Placed a couple of orders and everything I need for the tank minus fish and corals is on the way. Heres what I got coming:
3 ATI Blue Plus
1 ATI Purple Plus
Tunze Osmolator ATO
Hydor Slim Skim Nano
Reefkeeper lite (basic)
50 lbs of dry rock from reefrocks.net
40 lbs of sand

Hopefully making a diy light hanger this weekend.
