Replace glass or tank?

Is it shifted in the front or just the back? From pic i would expect front and end would show shifting. If not i would say a manufacturing defect.

Does it appear to be sealed? This is a glass tank correct? There should be tell tales signs if the seal has been damaged

Being glass with that much shift there should have been cracked glass or severely chipped. From pics i am leaning toward assembled wrong. But you would never know till you filled it but with all that is going on with the claim i wouldnt unless manufacturer instructs you to

Just wondering measure bottom glass and see if its square. Take a measurement of tank corner to opposite corner see if tank was assembled square ( on the diag) if the same tank should be square.

Sorry. I should have been more clear. This is how it was built. It didn't move in transit or anything. Its sealed that way from the manufacturer.

Manufacturing defect they should replace without any question called a warranty and guarantee.

At the very least, I would think the misalignment of glass would qualify as poor workmanship. To me, it looks as though it was hastily assembled. IMO, that should have never passed any sort of quality control check before it was shipped. How big is that tank? Maybe I overlooked that earlier in the thread. From what I can see in those pictures, I am pretty sure I would not be happy with it, even if it wasn't cracked. I think you may have an issue against the manufacturer and the shipper.

So this is what a 190 gal? I take it you have not heard from manufacturer. This is very poor on their part

Well, because I thought the crack was my only issue, they told me to file a claim with the carrier. Now, after another member on this forum came over to see if the cracked glass could be replaced, we found all these things wrong, including this issue with the bottom not lining up properly. I just shot another email with a bunch of pics showing all these things. There should be no excuse for a refund or a new tank now. I mean, I do have a case right?

Oh yea. A big one. With pics they cannot deny the prob is on their end they should pick up tab for everything

The manufacturer, Planet in Texas, reached out to me. Originally for just the crack, now I sent them the new pics. They are supposed to get back to me tomorrow.

Sounds like they are realizing prob was theirs all along good to hear that they are beginning to communicate

More pics of the underside of the eurobracing. There is a gap in the first picture. No silicone!
