Seriously, he'll be looking for 1" Vinyl Tubing (it's got a 3/4" interior diameter, it will say .75 ID, 1" OD on the roll).
You'll still probably need to hit it with a heat gun, blowdryer or hot water to soften up the end and get it over the barb.
Last thought.. if that pump's going to be submerged, don't use the stainless hose clamp (it looks like one in your pic). Stainless is not rustless, and it will leach iron, manganese, zinc into the tank as it dissolves.

Outlet Hose Fittings: 3/4″ & 1″ Hose Barbs———this. There should be 3 different fittings included. The one I would use depending on the rest of the plumbing is the 3/4 outlet with a 3/4 house. Use the hot water to make the end pliable and should slip over the barb

This should fit over the barb after a bit of warming. Obviously you should not need 50 feet

I should mention that the tank came pre-drilled w pipes already permanently installed in the overflow box. As in siliconed in there. They then provide tubes that attach from the bottom of the tank and go to the sump. I can’t just put in a different tube. I’d ideally have it match the internal diameter of the tube in the return box and then I would have to seal it onto the fitting so I could attach it to the tank. Make sense?

Sometimes when plumbing an aquarium it helps to yell at it for 10 min then tell your pets you are not mad at them and then take the parts to home depot...
Oh wow just saw the barb for your model pump it's got very little slope...that is going to be a pain in the butt to get on there. Going to need hot water or a hair dryer once home depot confirms you don't need an adapter.

My husband has the tube and barb at Home Depot. I’ll try when he gets home. If it works, I’m gonna be so relieved and embarrassed. Let’s hope this is just me over complicating things as usual. I have a tendency to do that...

I Hope because I would feel horrible not being able to help.
quick question and hope this does not add stress, you also need to think about the other side you are putting the hose to. The barb coming out of the pump will need to be same as the barb you are plugging hose into
