I was thinking about painting or staining this tank room floor just to give it another look besides grey concrete!

Any ideas, tips, pros or cons?

I would look at Seal-Krete Epoxy-Seal. It is a great coating and even gives it a flash of color and dimension.

I think you can get it at your local hardware store.

If you are going to paint it, do it right and use an epoxy (as recommended above). There are plenty of cheaper concrete paints that will look okay with light traffic for a year or two. Under heavy traffic they will quickly look worse than had you left it bare concrete.

+1,000 on this...either do it, or have it done, correctly, or leave it the way it is. You'll be happier with which ever you choose!
