I am thinking you should plumb it so that you can exchange that single return pump out for two or three COR pumps. Extra redundancy by not having all your eggs in one basket. When is it coming? Soon. Soon.
Now, if only you had one of these...

You best not be paying for all those goodies, at least not full price for all you do for us and our vendors.Thankful that I am in the "industry."![]()
It's hard to gauge shadowing when a tank is empty, water makes a difference in the way it travels. You could also turn the ones about the braces the other way. As for tidying up the cables maybe you could use flexible conduit like this

You need to run all of the cables to one end, then up to the shelf... zip tying them together as you make your way from one end to the other. It will be one large "umbilical cord", that moves and bends as one, when you raise and lower the rack. Make sure to have a nice easy radius where the cables go from the end of the rack up to the shelf. I guess it's kind of hard to explain. Just fly me out and I'll take care of it!
Ah yes great idea! Any ideas for keeping the chord in place running on top of the light rack? That's a 2x4 so I have options.
I use cable clamps all of the time in my profession. I simply use the plastic ones, but you can also get the metal ones that have a vinyl coating on them....
