not to be a critique, but did you plan of the grain of the wood going a different way on the doors than on the stand?

Looks awesome Bob!!! When is the fill date? Have u drilled the tank yet?

not to be a critique, but did you plan of the grain of the wood going a different way on the doors than on the stand?

I didn't. did not even consider it. I noticed it when i put the doors on but thats about it. the doors have the top and bottom grain going the same way so its fine.

Chris- I have been waiting to get John to come over so we can go over the master plumbing plan. So the tank is not drilled yet. i wish it was. I can't even get my wife to pick a fricking paint color for the walls down there. I need that done so i can paint behind the stand. I knew it was going to be a long process.

Photo Update

Slow but still going! Here the tank is on the stand. it still has to be plumbed but it is drilled and you can see the nice glass-holes.com over flow box. nice low profile.

Tank on the stand.

Beautiful set up! Can't wait to see this progress I tell ya! :D

Nice work Bob. I thought this thing wouls have been done after the fast start you had on the tile work and stand.....

Keep up the good work

yeah right, i wish. there are always little things that stall it. To be honest I am being a wimp about the plumbing, I want John to come over and do it with me as he has alot more experience and ideas. I can do it but don't want to have to redo it. Trying to do it right!

I'll definately be following along. Great stand btw. Seems like you have a great group of local reefers too. :)
