When my husband looks at the tank and rolls his eyes.
LolDivorce NOW!!!!!
I hate driving 70 miles to the nearest saltwater fish store and they don't have anything I will or can buy.
All the cool stuff I see for sale that when I go looking for care information it turns out they really can't be kept in captivity for a long period of time. Or no one knows enough about them to keep them long term. Or they're extremely difficult and only a few people have managed to keep them alive.
Looking at you, nudibranchs.
FOWLR .. sorry, but the nicest saltwater fish pale in comparison to fw options. The meanest sw fish pale in comparison to fw.
SW fish have nothing on fw in general.
I have a mandarin that I target feed every day and he comes to my turkey baster when I turn my pump off. I usually pile all the food in a pile for him so he can stare at it and shake his head all he wants. But nothing ****** me off more when he chases a random single piece while staring at it and loses the pile I made for him. He will look everywhere through the tank for food and I have to fight clown fish to guard the pile.
Have you seen a Manderian fish. I have never seen a FW fish as beautiful. JS.

Sounds like you've never heard of many FW fish outside of the common stuff

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I believe all of these give a mandarin a run for their money. js![]()
