but see, here is where she is wrong, expected gender norms are species specific. that means, by being the ones to get pregnant, the males are falling directly into the expected gender norms of seahorses, or walruses.

Ender 3 Max Neo (11.81" print bed) and an 8 pack of Sunlu PETG filaments is on the list awaiting approval.
My (soon to be? Sorta?) ex has an Ender and he loves it. He's printed me some things using PETG off of Amazon that I bought and he did have to get a different head and do a little calibration, but it worked well.

yes! sorry I got lost in the forest... you'll totally enjoy that printer.
It has the 4.2.7 mobo with the CR touch and filament runout sensor.
dual z axis and big print bed are awesome.
it says all metal hot-end so it should be ok with PETG out the box but I'd print in ventilated area if doing PETG until you can verify the Bowden tube doesn't look burnt after printing at 250 for awhile.

You could update the hotend to a high speed hot-end later down the line to get the 400mm/sec print times others get on the $$ printers.

I should be able todo similar on my stock $100 enders since I'm rolling my own firmware now but I just havent the juice todo all the tuning and my cheap poorly machined full-metal hot-ends aren't up to the tolerances needed for the high-speed squeeze.

I dig the BC frag holder ! Very cool ! I was planning on taking all my initial shots with it but lost it ,,,but found it last night :) I really need to clean the fish room :p

I'm hoping Mom and Dad get me the $100 Ender before the Max Neo gets approved so I'll have 2 but I don't see that happening.
 
yay. finally installed an extra drive in my computer for raw footage... been getting slim on the primary drive. have had the 4TB drive laying about in-box for about a year now... they're so cheap now.
 
Just kind of hit home that Adam is putting ParlAquatics cards in this contest boxes... hah... I'm no where nearly as put-together as I had hoped to be for that.

right out the box, with their examples, I am able to get some of the following output.
Wouldn't be to hard to encase that sensor in epoxy to put in the tank, or tell when a solution changes color...
I have micro steppers in the mail.

To get these values, I put the color chip over the sensor for a bit then moved to the other color.

If it's what I think it is it's a DIY par meter. It was a while ago that I found that though so I don't recall entirely.
I may try a DIY Trident first but the DIY par meter is probably easier...
