The older I get the more of a loose hold I have on money and material possessions. It's just money. You should see how much I spend oo bonsai trees. Not saying I'm idiotic with my money, but if I get enjoyment out of what I'm buying it's worth it to me.

Probably around $15000 - $17000 to replace all equipment new, live stock is the tough one, quite a few larger SPS colonies, not "designer" ones, but hard to estimate how much multi 12+" colonies go for, I'd probably guess $5000 for total live stock.

That said, there are great deals on used equipment out there, which is what I've mostly gone with and I've down a fair amount of DIY work so I'm into it for far less.

My old pico is worth actually about $600 in frags and equipment. If someone offered me twenty thousand dollars for it I’d decline. About forty would be the push mark. Not joking lol, the ups and downs to old age add intangible value, I wouldn’t sell it for under forty and on a hard month thirty lol yes.

Not a whole lot. Almost all my equipment I bought used and it’s just a deep blue tank and 40 breeder sump. Nothing fancy and the corals are pretty basic too. No bounce mushrooms or master torches to be found. I do enjoy it though!
