SC Aquariums 50 gallon PNP

I've been thinking hard about one of those. My local frag swap is the weekend after easter and fijicube has a booth there and usually a discount on these things.
They're based out of Minnesota.

my main complaint on the sca stock sump is where to put heaters. they definitely don't fit in vertically, and horizontally it's kind of a mess. i have two eheims in the return section and i think that has screwed them up, probably touching each other. can't fit it in the fuge section since i have a tupperware of miracle mud in there

:mad::mad:

Do you have that?

I have the 15 sump and the 22.4 external overflow tank. Dantimdad has the 20" sump. The 15 doesn't have a fuge chamber, just a big skimmer chamber. Mine is a baby, but fits in my cabinet.

Wow nice, cleannn

My old tank had a $500 30" trigger that had nice features. The fijicube gets the job done. The owner is a really nice guy. All our input we give them he considers the changes to tweak em' more friendly. The guy will email you all hours of the night. He is really trying to get things rolling. @dantimdad can tell. Let's not railroad the thread though.

What I noticed and didn't like about the stock glass sump is how heavy it is, holy ****!
That FijiCube 20 sump is the one I am looking at.

Yes the owner of FijiCube is a great guy, his wife too. I spent some time talking to them about their products and loved how he asked what I would want and what I would change to make their product better. Taking feedback and directly changing/fixing your products shows the consumer a lot about who you are.

Found this in a thread this morning. TheHarold makes a 3d printed light cone for the older style kessil can light for a fuge. Simple, but effective. The after pic is what you want to achieve no matter what light you choose.

About to get rid of these dang fish! Put my GSP on the rock and my Kupang Damsel kept going under it and flipping it over! What a jerk... put it on the sand for now and ordered some rubble rock to attach my frags to.

That's not even the worst part. I was super excited waiting for my pulsing Xenia to extend and start pulsing. I was sitting in front of the tank admiring it and the dang puffer swoops in and eats half of the Xenia in one bite! Fish sticks are about to be on the menu for dinner! My poor Xenia :(.

I'm jealous of your NYOS, nice skimmer dude.

That is just temporary. I've been waiting 3 months for a deltec 400. I think it is still in Germany in a big order for the states. Battlecorals is the guy in the know. That 120 is off my old setup, & a little big for a little 22 gal tank. It will go up for sale when the UPS guy delivers.
