I love my Scopas. She’s a great algae eater, plays well with others, and her colors, especially close up, are striking. Way prettier than a yellow tang IMHO.

agreed. I love all the corals on the bottom, they look nice and healthy

My scopas was an algae devouring beast! Great attitude, just a cool fish that always brought his work boots, and I kindda like their colors with the little spots they have. I got him after my yellow tang got a little to friendly with the powerhead when no one was home to save him. The yellow is definitely flashier but pricey now. If anyone wants a really cool specimen check out the hybrid scopas. They are more but not nearly as much as a yellow. The one at my lfs has a nice pale yellow that fades to a bluish black. Really nice looking.

My Scopas got along great with The Zebra and Purple until about 4 days ago. He now keeps the purple Tang in a cave. If he see that he is coming out he chases him back in the cave. Then turns around and wiggles his tail fin in the cave opening. They go round and round the rocks. The Purple tang submits until feeding time and then gets its share. I hope they stop that.
