"Seems" like it's time for a new build....

I think Velcro after a while will wear out I'm going to assume you will be removing it daily at first

Can you post a pic of your plumbing set up? All the lines?

Simple and easy. Overflow into sump, return pump with ball valve to return. :D

So what are you doing in terms of safety

Sump holds the water volume in case of power outage, tank holds the water volume in case of overflow clogging. Switching outlet for GFCI, grounding probe, etc. not sure what else would be needed.

Thanks! Way better than I expected honestly. Only a few concerns, but I'm looking to up the lighting a good bit here in near future. When I moved from the 90, I pulled the t5 lights for aesthetic reasons and lost 216 watts of lighting and upped the intensity of my kessils to compensate. I figured it'd be a shallower setup so the light would suffice. Just not enough for a couple of my sps. The Garf bansai has gone brown, but still kicking and has good PE in the evening. And I can see where some shadowing has caused a few to be gorgeous on top, but shading issues have the lower/shaded portion of the frag a bit blah in color. Weighing the SB Reef, ReefBreeder 48 photon v2, or a 6-8 bulb t5 as options at the moment.
