I am honestly upset at this. I have been to 3 different LFS looking for a pink streak. 2 had never heard of it and none of them could order it for me. :mad:

They are putting in with a wholesaler so the wait begins. It may be a wait. For the Leapord wrasse it was a 2 month wait

Flourish phosphate is arriving tomorrow and the 5 micron socks should be in Friday. If I need a uv I'll get one. I beat them last time with out it. My goal is to get phosphates up to .5. 2017 I went to 1. The thing is to do it slow. I think I was at 10 mil a day for a few days to get a reading and than bam I went to 1.0. At that point dino went away and the gha exploded. The difference between 2017 and now I didn't let it go for 8 months. Been in the tank for about a week or so.
i thought it would go away because if new tank uglies. It is not.

I work at Aquatica off of South Tryon. We also have a sister store in Moorseville called Salty's. I've heard many things about six lines being bullies, we usually just keep a few individuals in our coral tanks. I'd have to check the store inventory if we can order them. I also believe I've seen specifically the pink streaked wrasse on liveaquaria's website as well.

I went there (live right down the road) as well as Nemo’s Reef and Upscale Aquatics. It shows on their website, but every time I have checked for the past year it has also shown as out of stock :/

I work this Friday so I can definitely ask and see if we can get it for you. If not then it may just be that our distributor doesn’t have them in stock either. Maybe contact liveaquaria? Cause that seems more likely to be a lack of update, I don’t think it’s that popular. But I will definitely let you know on Friday. If you wanna stop by, feel free to

Bad new folks I have Dino in my tank

I had it in 2017 and it wiped out 90% of my corals. This time I know what I’m dealing with. Cheato dropped phosphates to undetectable levels.

Dosing refresh than waste away. I worked for cyano supposed to help with Dino as well.

No water changes. New sw seems to fuel growth. So my water changes will be into Into a 5 micron sock into a 5g bucket and dumped back into the tank

dosing phosphates into the tank.



that’s my plan. It worked last time it will work this time.

Great minds think alike. I got it in from chewy. I would have started Sunday but the lfs was being dumb.
Last night I dosed waste away. Whoops. Tonight I dosed refresh. Tomorrow refresh than waste away.
Tomorrow phosphate should be here and I'll dose that as well. I'm keeping food the same.
Friday the 5 micron socks will be in. That's for the dino as well.

Another idea is to buy a whole house filter. I was thinking about setting that up with a 5 micron filter to pump tank water through especially at night when these little beasts enter the water column. Much like a Diatomaceous earth filter.
