Osteo is the easiest to beat. Amphiidian is a nasty beast because it burrows into the sand at night.

Yes but they feed both ways. It's them going from photo to pred that's very bad. Uping the nutrients gives the more complex organism them a foothold and they will choke out the dino. Uv does really help.

In many cases, a properly sized UV-C will eliminate and keep the problem away.

I think I posted this on this thread the other day. It could have been a different thread on a different day though as I cannot be certain. In any case, I realize that folks go with the Jebao and other lesser expensive units but, for my money, I'd go with one of the untis in the link below. There is also some very good info in the link too.

Yeh cool, now we are back to the Flintstones pet if said in a French accent!

I did read the majority of that link the other day, I used to run industrial UV units on the pharmaceutical plants I ran @ notasdumbasheappears, the first unit I ran had 8 quartz sleeves and tubes, all stainless body and designed for close coverage, as stated, get the top spec you can afford as a lot are just water clarifiers!

New toy picked up from PetSmart. Thank goodness they price match. This will filter down to 1 micron.
For 30.96 worth it. I found it on chewy and PetSmart price matches
