Shipping question??? Help a reefer out…

I live in northern New Jersey and I have 2 coral shipments going out tomorrow for Friday delivery. One from Orlando and the other from Detroit. I heard from a good source fedex Memphis is shut down and it looks like bad weather on Friday…. Do you think I should postpone my shipments or roll the dice??? Mother Nature is a picky lady

Yeah I just don't know if you have something coming into Nashville and its sooooo close if they still send it to Memphis to get on another plane or truck just to go to Nashville

If all of the other overnight deliveries go through Memphis then my guess would be that they all go through there regardless of final location.
For @TnFishwater98 sake I hope that is wrong. I doubt any package going through Memphis will be delivered on time for the next few days.

I'd almost guarantee he will chose to delay shipment. If he made a thread about it then he was already concerned about it and this thread has obviously been completely one sided.

I would much rather get coral on time at this point in the year than have a box come in over 100 degree heat. The problem is with the service this time of year. I would rather my coral come on time in the summer than sit for 4days in the winter cold.

0 for 3 . They all made it to Nashville but stopped at their warehouses. One made it through Memphis to Nashville around noon but all the FedEx and UPS pickup stores were closed or not getting deliveries. Obviously their vans weren’t delivering to houses. Hope to pick up tomorrow and they are healthy!

Wow sorry to hear. If your area looks like where I live in WV I doubt tomorrow looks promising either. We're up to a foot of snow

Going to be some cold boxes once they arrive unfortunately with that delay and TN temps. Heat packs just don't last that long plus warehouse temps.

got one box today other is still mia in their hub, couple fish may survive but doesn’t look great. Definitely blaming FedEx for this one

Postponed my packages. Wasn’t worth the risk. When you think about what actually goes into an overnight shipment winter weather can really screw things up.
