Humble beginings :)

Thanks to Bulk Reef Supply for videos, a real person on the phone and reward points!
Also shout out to Franks Tanks for hooking me up with a trigger sump and top off same day!

Tank Delivery!
Thanks Mr Aquarium for the custom tank and stand from Planet Aquariums.
32X24X24 rimless 80Ish Gallon with 24 in the sump for 100+ gallon system

Added a thick layer of 2 part epoxy to make a "bathtub" for the system

Going to be a tight fit but i have some ideas.

From past mistakes ive decided to make a totally enclosed cabinet for the tanks electronics.

Expert carpenters please dont look too closely...

The only way this is going to work is if I heat up the soldering iron, Time to start diy hacking!

Cabinet painted and electronics installed (somewhat)

Drawer slides for the cabinet and matching handle from home depot!
Note the GFCI and network gaming adapter for internet access

More wiring than I anticipated..

Unions Unions Unions!
oh and gate valves.
ATO is temporary until i can get a tunze or Neptune pump.

Also water test and you can see the LED strip lighting that is utilitarian ghetto. Yes it will slow fade, no i will not post a vid. It stays white, or blue, ... when im in the mood ;)

So where is this going to go you ask?
you have probably noted the pics in the garage, i mentioned the custom size. that was to fit here

Drum roll please!

It fits!
Barely.

It will work, trust me.
At least thats what i'm telling my wife

Time to hang the lights! I went with the new Giessmann VERVVE. First off the shelf lighting ive done but im pleased with the light and bluetooth app.
ill post spectrum and PAR soon

I ran the power into the attic so there are no wires from the tank to the light

Short video tour of progress so far.
Remember this is a WIP! dont judge too harshly

Time for the Hard Part... Aquascaping...
Ok, things to consider: golden ratio, power of thirds, % sand to rock, coral placement, what i like, what my wife likes, what my kids like, astrology, etc..

acrylic for stability

To Do:

Program Vortech pumps and Giessman lights.
Cycle tank.
Convince my wife that this was a good idea.

Win Lottery for the following SPS

RR Pink Floyd
Walt Disney
Fox Flame
ARC samurai
Bubble gum Digi
Fruity Pebbles
Shortcake
Lemonade

Accept sponsorships and coral from epic coral sellers and put their stickers all over my tank :)

Absolutely amazing so far! I am in love with your custom cable magement!

Thanks Dasidius! cable management was probably the most difficult part of the build with the sliding drawer. I had to add and splice alot of wire notably to the eco tech pumps, i tried the cable carrier for wire but it didnt work as smooth as zip ties and crazy random folding.

Thanks for the kind words, there are alot of man hours in this build.

New Seneye to monitor ammonia, Ready for the cycle to be done with so i can start adding Coral.
