Shout out to nemos reef in Matthews NC (suburb of charlotte) awesome selection of all corals especially aussie acropora when they are in season. Very knowledgeable staff, and the best prices around. I pass 3 other reef stores on my way to nemos!

I will give a shoutout to Southwest Reef Company in Albuquerque. They practice good quarantine procedures and always give great advice.

But this is my local fish store @WWC :D

Shout out to J&L Aquatics in BC, Canada! Im fortunate to have them as my LFS! Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. And last time I was in I saw they have a growth chart posted for a hippo tang that shows how quick they can grow and how big they are when fully grown.. so impressed!

Shoutout to Greenwich Aquaria in the southwest corner of Connecticut!

They're not huge, but they've always got something cool on tap, their prices are pretty good considering the neighborhood they're in (and they run a few sweet weekend sales each year!), and their staff is - literally - world-class.

Also a fan of Shoreline, but that's a pretty long drive for me, as well as NY Aquatic. Longer drive than Greenwich, but sometimes very worthwhile for a special trip, and his fish are always healthy IME.

~Bruce, who would _much_ rather see it swim and eat than purchase based on a photo, no matter how well-lit.

I love Shoreline Pet and Aquarium in Old Saybrook, CT. The owner is great, very knowledgable and always takes the time to help/answer questions/provide advice. Great coral selection as well as fish selection too. AND there's a parrot named Jade who is just so much fun to visit.

Reef Oasis in Cleveland for being so amazing-theyre definitely more than just a store!
Also not so local or a technical LFS lol but I love visiting Cherry Corals-their place is always so clean.

dang! wish I had some pictures!!!

Shout Out to HighTide Aquarium in Tallahassee FL, best LFS in the Panhandle area, I like that he has frag tanks and fish only tanks but a lot of the livestock he sells lives in actual reef tanks like you would see at home.

The Reef Rack in Overland Park KS is awesome and always has top notch show pieces as well as a wide variety of frags. Here's just one example of a crazy lobo they had last time I was in there.

If I'm not mistaken they even sell online and ship nationwide. Matt the owner is also one of the nicest and most genuine people I've ever met, he seems to remember everyone's name and always makes you feel welcome without crossing that line into hovering over you uncomfortably. (Bonus is that the shop is less than 10 minutes from home)
