Shout out to your Local Fish Store!

My favorite stores in Manassas Virginia. 1st Choice Capital aquarium. these guys do maintenance on tanks and have a store with a wide selection of coral and fish. I go in once a week just to hang out. 2nd Choice is incredible coral. These guys are a sponsor here and build tanks and lids and have a shop with coral and fish. 3rd choice is Blue ribbon Koi. This is another maintenance shop. I think these guys specialize in koi ponds. This is where I go for SPS coral.

Shout out to Saltwater Junkies (west side of Phoenix). They're super knowledgeable and the owner is known as a zoa freak! Also shout out to Fins and Friends. Best mom and pop shop I've been too on the east side of Phoenix. I saw someone post earlier about Discount Aquarium and I'm looking forward to going there as I have a lot of equipment I need to trade in!

Premium Aquatics in Indy does a good job with fish and coral - good prices, too!

Second the shout out to Fins and Friends, too. I don't get there often, but you're right, they are literally a mom and pop outfit (very nice couple) but there are full of great advice!

They're certainly not the biggest operation out there, but Reefs Aquatic in Green Bay, WI had been pretty awesome to me. Ran by two younger guys who are clearly obsessed with the hobby.

Eddie's Aquarium Centre in the Capital District of New York has maintained consistent quality. There are other descent stores, but the personal care and knowledge there makes them the best.

S/O to Tidal Gardens in Copley, Ohio.
FYI. On Google maps you can do a walk thru of the green house.

My two favorite LFS are about 2-3hrs away, so not really local but I'm giving a shoutout to Joe Knows Reefs in Charleston,SC and Bio-reef in Jacksonville, Fl

A shout out to the three shops I frequent the most. Aquarium Village in Westbury, excellent shop with a helpful staff. Pets Warehouse is a local big box shop like Petco or Petsmart, but they keep their tanks immaculate unlike Petco, I go to the Carle Place location every week because it's close to my job. Roxi knows her stuff and keeps the place clean and in order. I've been to the shop in Bohemia, great selection and price, but not as clean as the shop in Carle Place. The last shop is Pets Aquatic in New Hyde Park, a good shop that I like to go to whenever I'm in the area.

Shout out to Aquatic treasures in Las Vegas NV. Great store and the employees are super knowledgeable and friendly. The best in the biz and they go out of their way to help you.

Fish2morrow, in Fort Worth TX, nice collection of corals. Practice qt procedures on fish. And work hard to be competitive on dry goods pricing.

Also, Frank's Tanks. Frank is a awesome helpful guy! And has a nice selection of stuff with fair prices

Keep them coming!

Reef Oasis in Mentor, OH.......aside from being 5 minutes from my house :), Chris and the rest of the employees are very knowledgeable and willing to help whether it be to place special order or solve a problem.

Shoutout to Greenwich Aquaria in the southwest corner of Connecticut!

They're not huge, but they've always got something cool on tap, their prices are pretty good considering the neighborhood they're in (and they run a few sweet weekend sales each year!), and their staff is - literally - world-class.

Also a fan of Shoreline, but that's a pretty long drive for me, as well as NY Aquatic. Longer drive than Greenwich, but sometimes very worthwhile for a special trip, and his fish are always healthy IME.

~Bruce, who would _much_ rather see it swim and eat than purchase based on a photo, no matter how well-lit.
Bruce, you beat me to it... I agree, Greenwich Aquaria has one of the best stores I have had the pleasure of visiting "and their staff is - literally - world-class" 100% agree!!!

Shot out to Scanton Aquarium and the owner Jason in Scanton PA. I love everthing about the store except that he sells freshwater! Lol!
