Shout out to "The Reef Gallary" in Zelienople, PA. Adam is a great guy and has an amazing store. Keeps it stocked and very clean. Great atmosphere! If you are close check it out! Great great prices.

I also really like TheReefGallery outside of Pittsburgh, PA. It's a newer store and it's a very clean set-up. He supports the local aquarium society with a discount and gift cards for our raffle when ever I ask. Tons of nice coral and frags.

I also really like Aqua World. They are re-doing their setups and it's looking very nice. They have a great display tank and $5 frags. Jeff also supports the local club more than I could ask for.

Shout out to Rivers to Reefs in Gahanna, OH a suburb of Columbus. The only independent fish store left in the whole danged town! Even if they weren't the only, they would still be the best! Fresh and Salt, great selection and GREAT service!

Would you be able to give me a list of the trustworthy lfs in Richmond, va? I'm gonna be going to school there soon and would rly like to have a small aquarium there......

There's 4 or 5 stores in the Richmond area but those are the 2 i like. Richmond aquarium used to be ok but their big frag tank had a major case of dinos the last few times i was there and i dont want that near my tank but they do have a 2000 gallon tank with sharks and triggers. i get corals from tiki and fish from fish word if its a harder to adjust fish other wise i order from liveaquaria

I love Nemo's Reef. Have not had a chance to get there in a while. ( they are about an hour and half from me

Shout out to nemos reef in Matthews NC (suburb of charlotte) awesome selection of all corals especially aussie acropora when they are in season. Very knowledgeable staff, and the best prices around. I pass 3 other reef stores on my way to nemos!

FYI. On Google maps you can do a walk thru of the green house.

I do want to add that Tidal Gardens is more coral propagation as opposed to a local fish store, although Than does sell dry goods and can get just about anything.

For Buffalo and Western New York Coral Sea Aquatics is without a doubt the number 1. Pete and his gang at Coral Sea in Armor, NY are friendly and extremely helpful. They have a fantastic selection of coral in a every price range a great selection of fish and if you are looking for it they will find it.

Shoutout to Greenwich Aquaria in the southwest corner of Connecticut!

They're not huge, but they've always got something cool on tap, their prices are pretty good considering the neighborhood they're in (and they run a few sweet weekend sales each year!), and their staff is - literally - world-class.

Also a fan of Shoreline, but that's a pretty long drive for me, as well as NY Aquatic. Longer drive than Greenwich, but sometimes very worthwhile for a special trip, and his fish are always healthy IME.

~Bruce, who would _much_ rather see it swim and eat than purchase based on a photo, no matter how well-lit.

I'll second Greenwich Aquaria. I do pass a few other shops on the way there and it's always worth it.
