Tiki corals in Richmond va they have some of the cleanest tanks and decent prices. fish world in Richmond va is one of the few lfs that i will buy fish from he's pricey but can't put a price on expert level fish that are eating good and disease free

These are the 3 LFS we frequently visit :)

Chris at @Incredible Corals is awesome. Knows his customers by name, willing to spend time talking with you, keeps the tanks in great condition and answers my 5 year old daughter's endless questions about the names of the fish and corals.

Would you be able to give me a list of the trustworthy lfs in Richmond, va? I'm gonna be going to school there soon and would rly like to have a small aquarium there......
 
My favorite LFS in Metairie, LA (just outside of New Orleans) is Aquatic Sealife. The store is relatively new to our area. The shop is on the smaller side but don't let that fool you, they pack a selection like no other in our area! New arrivals every Tuesday. The owners Frank and Tim are knowledgeable and friendly. They knew my name on my second visit! The pricing and customer service is excellent. They also carry THE BEST product lines. My new fave is Aqua Forest, btw. Definitely above par, imo.

I'm lucky enough to be in Orlando so I have a list I gotta drop.
-WWC, go to store that has a sick selection of heirloom frags and quality fish. Pricy but worth it.
- Sea in the city, smaller store but definitely a great store. Super knowledgeable staff, down to earth, fair prices and rare livestock. Plus the monthly raffles are a huge plus.
- Top Shelf Aquatics, at first this was my go to store. Awesome staff, HUGE selection and I would find myself staying there a couple hours at a time just talking with staff and other customers. Plus I love their auctions on E bay, I've scored some massive deals on frags brah!
-Living Reef Orlando, recently went under new ownership but still a great store if not better than before. Always a good selection, I scored a nice swallow tail trio there and was able to bring in a clown tang that was being a dick and they took em no problem.
-I have to mention a couple other stores that I visit less frequently but are good stores:
--Exotic Fish & Imports is worth a trip, I've gotten some good steals there, owner gave me a sick deal on a 5 pack of Bartlett Anthias.
Theres so many more stores I could write for days.
-Ocean Blue Aquarium
-Fishy Buisness
-Stormborn Reef

I know I'm forgetting a couple....Dam I'm just realizing how many options we have here in central Florida. Good place to be a Reefer eh!!
 
I have to give a shout out to The Ocean Floor, Saltwater Junkies, Fins and Friends, and Phoenix Tropical Fish. All of them are located in the greater Phoenix area. They ALL have played a part in helping me educate my self, stocking my tanks with fish, corals, decor, and equipment. I have never dealt with Discount Aquarium, but if next time something comes to mind I'll look them up.

Shout out at Plymouth Pet and Aquarium in Plymouth, NH.

The owner has some amazing skills, and he has a great team working with him! I buy all my livestock there.
 
A big shout out to BEST FISH, a Milwaukee icon. Great staff, knowledgeable, competitive to online retailers. They also give back to the community.

A normal weekend for us would include stops at several, if not all of these great LFS's in the Tampa area:
Drysdale Aquarium
Creative Aquariums
Coral Corral
Marine Warehouse
The Aquarium & Fish Store
Also several great ones on the St Pete side of the bay, not to mention several in the Orlando area.
So many LFS's, so little time. :)
 
Shout out to STL Corals and More in St. Charles. They always friendly and bring in the best fish and frags. And they always go out of their way to help!
 
From the Denver metro area I'd give a shout out to Tom at Liquid Kingdom. Very helpful in getting me into the hobby. Also Elite Reef just down the street from me. My favorite store in the area has to be Aquatic Arts. The team there is absolutely fantastic with a great coral selection.

Aquarium Artisans in Cincinnati and Lazy's Frag House in Dayton.

Both are easily the best from their area.
