Here's my little 5.5 under a 160we running max 40% intensity. Very bright of need be. Some corals have grown well, others needed better acclimation to the light. I'd be carful when first starting as these lights can burn the corals.

They show coral very well in my opinion and consume far less energy.

That's a nice little tank thanks for sharing! I've always loved the color and shimmer of Kessils!

150g. 3x 360we. I also use t5's for supplementation for 4 hrs pd. Kessils run 10 hrs full sunrise / set of an apex controller. This pic is Kessil only.

Regarding the sps, I saw better results with the combo lighting, led and t5 fluorescent. But the max clam I had for a long time with led only and he thrived.

Okay good deal. Thanks for the info. I may have to supplement with T5 eventually as well then.

And for me, since I spent an absolute fortune on my led's, I wanted cheapo for the t5's. Bought a 48" 4 bulb fixture on amazon for $80 new. Built in timer. Nowhere near top of the line but functioning.

Dang for real?? Like a grow light or something? I was thinking some kind of retrofit or something

No way 2 360we gonna do it for a 75. I had 4 on a 59x22x22 and that was barely enough for good sps coverage. They are good for about 15".

I just held one of mine over my 20g long (30") and one covered it fantastically.
I promise u if u check your PAR readings as I have done extensively with an apogee 500 it falls off drastically after about 16". Visible means nothing.

Kessil even told me when I got my tank 3 was good for LPS but not sps.

Ive read a lot of people say a kessils true par cannot be read accurately with a par meter. I'm not trying to argue just wishful thinking. Worst case I'll add a few t5 bulbs later on
