I owe this an update and wanted to show contrast of colors I'm seeing across a few different versions.
@Saltyreef old school Kmaintl are in league of there own with solid bright sharp gold color in cap. I am seeing some specs of green on one.
My crazy green poletti morph is staying a crazy green color with some purps popping through the red.
Also got a new school JB in the second shroom condo. Totally different color on cap altogether.
Still think the old school JB are alot hardier and easier to keep than the new.

I had a beautiful electus I lost in a crash so I bought one from cb and way overpaid but I was already staying on from another auction I did the week prior for some rb chaices anyway, someone got back with me today with bigger ones just as nice!

I am thinking of trading for these teeny tiny polettis that are about the same price. Can anyone tell me if these polettis are going to be 3/4 orange and 1/4 yellow. I have 2 other baby polettis that just have fine red lines on them for now! What does that usually mean? That its going to be sort of like an electus.

First pic is the electus I won
second is the poletti I am thinking of trading for. I want o know if its going to end up like the third pic of one that is on ebay for a lot of money. Its still small but is part orange and part yellow. He calls it a pie cutter poletti or something.
I iwll attach pic of last poletti I won with fine lines that I hope it wont look like because I have two

I will be really mad if it just hasnt developed all the color and ends up looking like the one I won with fine lines as a baby because I can get those all day long cheap on ebay auctions and already have 2 of them! From the looks of it now looks like part will be orange and part yellow and maybe some other colors will come in! I have never had one past the size of a booger! LOL

Appreciate any help!

This looks Og poletti went through a journey, almost lost her. However, with love she made a great come back. Check out the purple speckles everywhere.

Does the Poletti jb get more red and lose the yellow as they mature?

When I first got this one, she was an ugly duckling. Majority red and little yellow, as she age, more and more green specks pop up. Now purple specks popping up everywhere just like the green. To answer your question I did notice some of the yellow is gone. However, with the purple specks coming in everywhere. It made her a super star!!

I barely ever look at them. They sit in back of my frag tank largely ignored. The sides of the box are covered in coralline so I can't even see them unless I hover straight over them.

can you share your no3 and po4 levels? do you feed your frag tank?

You are gonna make me dust off my test kits...

Poletti Lineage w/ purple!

Couldn't wait for mama to settle in. She has a lot more colors but I was a little impatient :)
