Mine has gone beyond surfn's... It doesn't have the color I'd like it to have. The polyps have a purplish tinge if you think hard enough about it... I may try it in a few different places. I've got the one I got from surfn and one I got from a LFS.

I gotta get a deepwater. A LFS got two in. They look nice. He's running only VHO's, too. There is a lokani in there I'm spying, too. He said it had to encrust to his LR before he'd break the frag plug off to sell it to me... It's been a while since I got a $100 frag (well, got a 1/4" piece of a monti a few months back for about that, but it didn't make it through the night...). I may have to wait and see what Santa brings...

yeah, $100 a pop for something that small is steep.....up near the pink lemonade and sunset monti. so it BETTER turn out good! lol

our LFS was selling them for $90, but after how fast they went i imagine they'll be $100+ next time they get them in.

my polyps are plenty blue......but the color has definiltely lightened up from what it used to be. wish it still had that dark green color. :(

I'd rather have the Yellow color than the blue. I love the Rasberry Lemonade Nasuta which your German acro resembles except the red is blue in your case. I saw a German acro under 10K bulbs at the LFS but didn't buy it because it didn't have any hint of yellow.

Picked up the ORA Blue Bottle Brush yesterday. It's an awesome piece. Got it from a local friend. I'll post pics soon.

My lfs has a delicate stag and it's still small. Is this something that will turn out nice?

yeah, its wicked cool when it gets to colony form IMO. i haven't seen anyone else with a colony as big as mine (baseball size). the shape is cool......but its mostly brown with green polyps and light blue tips.

Mine is only golf ball sized, but has blue tips, despite the color in the picture...

I think you'll like it, Rev. It's a little different than most acros.

here is my aussie delicate.....i fragged 1/4 of it recently this fall....so if i had left it alone it would be allot bigger.

i have it on a frag mag, on the back wall all the way up at the top of the tank in very steady flow area going right into the overflow box (actually, its only a couple inches from the overflow box teeth).

My LFS special ordered two Dustin's Deepwater acro's from ORA for me and I wasn't very impressed. They were charging $59.99, I'd rather spend an extra $20 and buy a nice Lemonade acro from Atlantis.

Nope, I got's me some Aussie Delicate. It's sitting on the sand right now, I should probably mount it before I go out of town.

I was one of the last people called in the SPS raffle, so there wasn't much to choose from. Next time I'll have to try to get in good with the person calling names and see if I can't rig the raffle ;)

The green birdsnest I got from you is looking kind of sickly, but I think it's going to pull through.

$60 a frag is an awesome price for the deepwater (this one costs twice as much as normal ORA corals directly from ORA, unlike most of the other ORA's that have high prices). Locally, it is $100. I think it is a pretty nice coral. It's different from the other common growth forms, but I guess to each his own:).

Pretty little ORA Montipora spongodes. I love the colors on these guys.

I don't have any local vendors with a good selection of ORA corals. Can anyone recommend a good online site to order from? Thanks.

You should grab some from Tim at Keenreef before he sells them all. He's holding one for me for this weekend to pickup. He might have some others hiding out.
