I love this thread. I love skimmers, not sure why but they are my favorite piece of equipment. I've had a bunch of different ones.
Currently running vertex omegas 180 and a 250.
Have had deltecs, reeflo orcas, reef octopus 150 up to 5000int, seaside aquatics, etc.
My favorite is still my old reeflo orca...sold it and regret it. It didnt under my stand so it had to sit out and wife didnt like that so I sold it but it was built like a tank with super thick acrylic and pulled some nasty skimmate. Plus it used up about 150w of power compared to the 28w my vertex 250 uses lol

Did you think the Bubble Magus were as good as the Reef Octopus that you had?
