Decided finally that the 29 cube wasn't burning my wallet fast enough (ha, yeah right) and ended up picking up a 105 gallon rimless. I couldn't pass it off, I fell for the sexy display at the store.

This was about a month or so ago and I've been tinkering with it since. I had to take a break because I decided to move it to the basement and ended up dropping the kazillion ton tank on my hand and foot that took me out of commission for a few days. But hopefully it'll be worth it.

So this is the tank I decided to owe my soul to...

And just incase I wasn't broke enough, the mini tank below it...

I ordered the substrate from Marcorocks (awesome rocks might I add). 100 pounds and also 160 pounds of sand (too fine, I'll need to find something else to top it off since I'm looking to fill this up with SPS.

And with a few minutes of playing around with rocks like the good ol days... I ended up with this.

Thanks. It's a DSA Neo Pro tank. And the lights are the Kessil a350w.

I just filled it completely tonight. :)

Can I ask where you bought your tank and sump? I think I have the exact same tank but went with an Aqueon sump.

I will never own another tank unless it is rimless! I just set up a 34 Rimless Cube and they don't get any sexier! Love the tank and rockwork!

Very nice tank. So clean and smooth looking. Can't wait to see how it comes along.

Well this is my first rimless... hows the water evaporation on yours? I'm used to having a closed lid so I'm sure the ATO will be running like crazy on this rimless?

I got the tank at ThatFishPlace and the sump is a Trigger System. My friend is building a 90 gallon and he recommended this sump to me.

Nice tank!. Deep sea aquatics makes some very nice tanks!

They definitely have an awesome build. The only issue I had was the Bulkhead kit that came with it, the drains were leaking from where the PVC and bulkheads connected. I didn't realize this till I had turned the pumps off and left. It pretty much flooded over the sump form the overflow draining completely... luckily the stand I have has a built in PVC lining to catch the over flow of the sump.

This is it this morning after running all last night. I'm surprised how fast the sand storm settle, especially with it being sugar fine sand. If I could take a decent pic with the Kessils on I would (the blue over exposes everything), cause they look amazing! :)
