So Where's all the Radion G5 Pics

I noticed the creaking as well. Hoping its just a break in thing. As for the fans, both of my G5s are noisy when all LEDs are set at 100% and the overall intensity is past 60%. Even if I give mine time they don't seem to cool down and the fans are on overdrive. I may need to work with Ecotech tomorrow. Cannot seem to get Mobius to connect to my lights consistently. I noticed in the light settings under the verify settings it shows "Dirty" under the Schedule and Advanced Feature category. Also I'm sure it doesn't help that one of my G5s serial numbers end in "BAD". LOL Which that light seems to be the most problematic with Mobius.

Almost wonder if the AB+ template is causing an issue if you modify the channels. Possibly the cause for the "Dirty" errors.

My fans are noisy as well. I never noticed my G4 Pro fans, just felt the flow from them when observing the tank up close. G4 fans were pretty silent albeit dust magnets from running all the time. Mobius overall seems stable....just pencil in the letters AZ after the BAD. Should behave after that

I def think there is some glitch with the software...

With all the hype of G5 and the dump of G4 on the used market, I expected to see tons of Radion G5 over members' tank pics. Who got theirs and who's still waiting? Several vendors shows in stock as early as last Monday.

Makes one wonder if all the creaking will end up with fractured and very brittle plastics. Bit worrying that fans need to be on permanently sounds like like the lights are overheating. It all doesn't sound good for long term for the lights but I suppose time will tell. I know from what I have heard about the gen 5 lights they most definitely will not be getting my pension money as so far there is more complaints about the lights than good news.

What would scare me about the g5 is the mounting height. 8in off the water to a little to close for comfort. I bought 4 hydra 64hd and at 12in my getting awesome results.

This is only with 3 over the 180g.

M y lights at 100 is completely Blue, I toned it down after I took these pics. Barely any white at all. Screenshot your settings?

I don't get it. The AB+ on my Blue's has lots of white. Too much matter of fact. Why are yours different?

The heat sync is blue and boxes show Blue. LOL I was wondering the same thing. All of the LED diode colors match up. Running the channels all at 100% no matter what the intensity the look appears to be like the Pro in your photo.

my blue is BLUE!
