Curious if anyone else has this issue! My clownfish only spazzes when I am right next to the tank for more than a minute. He is great…eats great, no sign of disease. When I put my fingers in the water to adjust the temp or fix the flow, he swims right up to me and circles my hand. If I’m sitting on the couch away from the tank, he does not spazz. If I sit next to the tank to stare, he will follow my fingers and spazz every couple minutes. Anyone see this before???

looking for food ??

I have a 55 gal and he is new. I moved him from QT to DT about a week ago but he was also
doing this in QT too anytime I got close. I have a royal gramma that lives in the house and a lawnmower blenny who hides in the live rock so no other clowns.

That looks like what my male clown does when he's fanning eggs. Maybe your clown was somebody's hubby before he ended up with you and is just missing having a nest to care for...?

pretty soon she is going to start biting you... ;)
looks like dominance show to me.

It’s been a little over a month. How long would they possible keep eggs? :face-with-spiral-eyes:

No, I didn't mean he/she has any eggs... just that the behavior is similar to what they instinctively do when they are caring for them.

Omg! I’ve never seen this before and now I’m trying to imagine him being a dad. That’s crazy. As long as he is not sick, I’m happy!

looks like a true perc , do you know if wild or tank raised ?
