Sea Fan of sorts. It's an ORA Grubes Gorgonian. It's a light pinkish/tan color and photosynthetic so pretty easy to care for. I like it because it adds a different texture and look than all the SPS/LPS
Not the best pic. Digging through my photos this guy doesn't get much lens time. I'll work on that

I am really happy with it. It does every thing its advertised to do. I know some people like having the ability to dose less than 1ml - which I'm not sure this doser dose. I have no complaints though. Programming is very simple and the equipment is reliable.
Ha! It is. What a terrible spot to put a clam! We it was placed there it had tons of space all around. I blinked and next thing I know its in the center of an SPS jungle.
I've looked into moving it - likely by cutting the filaments gently but it would be hard to get my hand in there. So my plan is to leave it there and frag the SPS around it. It'll be interesting for sure...

Your tank is very inspiring to me. I just got one of these, waiting to buy a ro/di system to get started. Some what new to the hobby so I'll be taking it slow. I'm thinking about sticking to softies and really learning how to maintain good water quality consistently. I had a sw tank for eleven years but never any coral. Your tank looks amazing!! I may ask your opinion or two down the line if you don't mind??

Thank you all for the compliments. I can't lie. Maintenance gets old at times but know other people enjoy seeing the tank always helps.

I don't know the exact measure but I would guess that the light is about 10-11 inches off the water line.
Yesssir. Hope it helped. It took me a time (and courage) to ramp up. I was very cautious of too much light. I feel that I've landed in a really good place though.
