Ughhh..so some of you that are familiar with me know that I have a 14 gal biocube with a 10 gal diy Sump. Roughly 20 gal of water. I have 1 AI Prime HD and I dose Cal Alk Mag via a jebao doser and I manually dose things like acropower and reef fuel. My tank has been up and running for almost 2 years and I'd say about 7-8 months with the current stock that's in it now. I'm physically exhausted with the dealing of constant changes that happen in my tank as far as the chemistry aspect goes. I have to test almost daily and I put so much time and effort into my tank with little to no reward. I've heard time and time again that my total water volume is just not conducive to growing SPS although I've seen some fantastic looking SPS dominated reefs on google etc.
My reason for this thread is I want to see successful SPS dominated reefs that are 20 gallons or less from the actual owners or hear stories of failed attempts or know ppl who have done this successfully. Basically I want to know if I'm chasing a unicorn here!?!!
